Visiting Card Design Guidelines

Designing your business card? Follow these essential size and layout specifications to ensure your cards print perfectly every time.

Bleed Area

3.61″ x 2.11″
(1083 x 633 pixels)
If your card has a background color, image, or pattern, make sure it extends to the bleed area. This prevents unwanted white edges from appearing if the card is trimmed slightly off-center. Think of this as a safety margin for your design.

Actual Card Size

3.5″ x 2″
(1050 x 600 pixels)
This is the final trimmed size of your business card. We cut as precisely as possible, but slight shifts can occur — which is why the bleed area is important.

Safe Printing Area

3.36″ x 1.86″
(1008 x 558 pixels)
Keep all vital content — like your logo, contact information, or any important design elements — within this safe area. This ensures nothing important gets trimmed off during cutting.

Digital Design Tip

When creating your card in a design software (like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva), use the full bleed size of 1083 x 633 pixels to set up your canvas. Keep all essential elements inside the safe area, and extend backgrounds or patterns to the bleed edge for a clean, professional look.
